Player Profile for Andrew Joly de Lotbiniere (de Bibblybobblywobbily)

When De Wob moved to the village many thought to themselves (as those deriving from minor hamlets in Hampshire are wont to do) who is this guy coming in here, marrying our women, buying our ancestors property, with his silly bloody name.

As it turns out he is one of the nicest guys you could wish to meet and therefore that was all forgotten about in an instant.

Now, between the months of January and April Andrew is far and away the finest cricketer in the side. To see his fast and accurate bowling in the nets is to behold a sportsman at the very peak of his ability. For whatever reason, known only to Andrew, as soon as he is confronted with the responsibility of repeating this at the wicket his radar tends to go a little awry. When he gets it right he gets it very right, when he gets it wrong?

Andrew is a real team player, universally liked by all and ever prepared to muck in; whether helping with pitch preparation or the far bigger task of summer party organising.

It would be amiss to close without mention of those legs. Andrew suffers from a rare genetic condition that means his calves are twice the width of the average human male. When the man runs, despite the enormous investment in energy, the resulting velocity is akin to a three legged tortoise.
