A solid all-rounder. As our resident farmer he struggles with his work/life/cricket balance, good weather meaning he invariably has something to do on the farm, mowing sheep or something. When he is able to escape the shackles of the farm, he has a reputation as a bit of a smooth charmer, which is entirely justified. He once ruthlessly took his eldest son?s bowling apart, rescuing the village from a tricky position against Hambledon, with some lovely sixes back over Jimbo's head. What a bastard/hero (depends on your perspective, most of us watching thought it was hilarious, especially those from Hambledon).
