Player Profile for Sam Meyer (Samwise Gamgees)
He fancies himself as a top order batsman and useful slow left arm bowler, but doesn?t score enough runs or take enough wickets to justify this view of himself. Player of the Season in 2007 as he can't help reminding everyone. He is one of the few players (Dampers, Jeff and Melvyn being the others) to have won his cap in both disciplines. Sadly, these cap winning performances are very rare occurrences. Our Vice-Captain, or should that be Captain of Vice?
