Player Profile for Tim Clay (Rebound)
Tim Clay new boy 'Rebound' was recruited to provide comfort for the skipper after Ben's departure. Plus the club needed another tree surgeon for boundary maintenance - with Brooker spending 'more time with family'.
Tim obligingly climbed down from the trees, swopped his hockey stick for the more elegant willow and is evolving into a useful all-rounder. He is prepared to throw himself around the outfield, bowls a tidy medium-quick and has thumped match-winning 6's.
A less ginger, less lippy version of Ben: no wonder the smile's back on Jimmy's face!
