Player Profile for William Atkinson (The Kaiser)

William “The Kaiser” Atkinson, our current vice captain (and on tour, captain of vice), has won player of the season twice, the greedy chap. With his smouldering eyes and dark wavy hair he is a chip off the old block and gives the team a certain presence. Willie’s game has grown over the last couple of seasons and he is quite capable of winning a match on his own with either bat or ball, though he would find fielding in all ten positions off his own bowling a stretch even for him.

The Kaiser’s only defect is his quietness in the field, often you would hardly know he was there. He just needs to come out of his shell and become a little more vocal and less diffident. In modern jargon he needs to express himself.
